Yaygın Pitiriazis Versikolor Tedavisinde Sistemik Ketokonazol Ve Itrakonazolun Karşılaştırılması

The efficacy of ketoconazole (Nizoral tablets, 200
mg) and the efficacy of itraconazole (Itraspor capsules,
100 mg) were compared in fourty patients with generalized
pityriasis versicolor. Twenty patients received 200
mg of ketoconazole by mouth per day for ten days. The
second group of twenty patients received 200 mg of itraconazole
by mouth per day for one week. Eight of the
ketoconazole treated patients and seven of the itraconazole
treated patients improved at the end of the treatment.
There was no statistically difference between the
two groups. By week four after the end of treatment, 18 in
ketoconazole group and 19 in itraconazole group improved.
Again there was no statistically difference in response
between the two groups. This study extended the
safety and profile of two systemic antifungal agents. And
it was more convenient to have the post-treatment evaluation
