moist and dry conditions on wound healing in mice. Moist
condition -was provided by sterile nylon or transparent,
adherent polyurethane film that transmits water vapor
and oxygen. Dry condition was provided by sterile gauze.
In moist wounds when comparad with dry wounds,
wound contraction, epithelization and connective tissue
regeneration were faster.
The gross and histological wound., healing models
were similar in wounds dressed with sterll nylon and polyurethan
film. Maceration and infection were observed in
wounds dressed with sterile nylon. These findings were
not seen in polyurethane film. Keywords: Wound healing, Moist condition,
