Rozase Tedavisinde Ketokonazol'ün Etkisi

This study was pedormed to Impress the effectiveness
of ketoconazole in the treatment of rosacea. It was
carried out on 30 patients clinically diagnosed as having
rosacea, attending the Dermatology Deparatment of Ankara
Numune Hospital between the years 1991-93. 23
female and 7 male patients were included in the study.
The patients were put into 2 groups. The first group
of patients used topical %2 ketoconazole cream, the
other group had a combination of topical applied %2 ketoconazole
cream and ketoconazole orally 400 mg/day.
All patients were treated for 1 moth. Patients lesions
were examined clinically twice at 15 days Intervals. As
the result, Ketoconazole was effective especially in the
treatment of papulopustular lesions of rosacea. When
comparing the topical application of ketoconazole to
combined therapy, it was observed that the difference
