Akne Rozasea'da Topikal Metronidazol Tedavisi

We found a reduction in the score of the total erytheme
by 76% and in the number of papules and pustules
by 89% in 25 patients with acne rosacea, at the end
of 9 weeks treatment with 1 % metronidazole cream. 1 %
metronidazole cream was significantly effective as compared
to the placebo controls. No local or systemic side
effects that may have been caused by treatment were
noted. These results suggest that 1% metronidazole
cream is a preferable, effective and safe route of treatment
