In this study, we examined the acne etiology in female
patients with acne vulgaris, by biochemical methods.
Dehidroepiandrostendion sulphate (DHEAS), total
testosterone (TTes), Free testosterone (FTes) hormone
levels were compared among 70 female patients with
acne vulgaris and control group (30 patient). There was
no correlation between the severity of acne vulgaris and
