İdyopatik Kronik Ürtikerde Ketotifen Ve Terfanadin Tedavisi

In this study, the effects of ketotifen and terfenadine
was compared in 30 patients with idiopatic chronic urticaria.
Ketotifen were given half to the patients, the others
of them used terfenadine for a month period. Ketotifen
was found completely effective in 73.3%, partially effective
in 20%, and not effective 6.6% of patients. These
values for terfenadine were 46.6%, 26.8%, and 26.6%
respectively.
These results have shown that ketotifen is an alternative
drug in treatment of idiopatic chronic urticaria.Keywords: Idiopatic chronic urticaria, Ketotifen,
