Bir Pseudoksantoma Elastikum Olgusu

Fırat Ünv. Tıp Fak. Dermatoloji AD, Elazığ Pseudoxanthoma elaslicum (PXE) is a degenerative
disorder of elastic tissue involving the skin, eyes,
and cardiovascular system. The most prominent cutenous
finding of the disease is yellowish, cobblestone,
papular lesions involving the nuchal, axillary, antecubilal,
periummblieal, inguinal, genital and popliteal
areas. The characteristic eye fmdigs arc the angioid
streaks and retinal hemorrhages. Arterial degenerative
changes result in hemorrhage, hvpertention, and ischemic
symptoms. We presented a case of PXE with
charecteristic skin lesions, high arched plate and yellowish
